In February 2014, PMB signed the majority takeover of SAVO-TECHNIK ROTATIONSGUSS GmbH, located in Valluhn, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For more than 30 years, SAVO has been manufacturing high-quality and sophisticated hollow bodies, such as water and fuel tanks, using a rotary casting process. SAVO has well-known customers from the mechanical engineering, medical engineering, automotive industry and water technology. The POSSEHL Group has already been working in the rotary casting division with its cleaning machines business division, which will result in additional synergies. Mario Schreiber, Member of the Management Board responsible for this division at POSSEHL, was very pleased with the acquisition of SAVO and the development of the business division: “With SAVO, we have been able to acquire another well-established company for POSSEHL. It shows that the concept of an “entrepreneurial group”, which we have embraced for years at POSSEHL, is very popular not just for cases of unclear succession in the family or in the company.”
“Together with Possehl, we see excellent opportunities to continue the successful growth path of the past years and to further expand our company.”Managing Directors Thomas Fehling and Ingolf Rasch, who continue to be involved in the company after its takeover.
